Don’t Be Lost in A crowd

Spread the word!

Today salvation has come to this house… For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.   Luke 19:9-10

The story of Zacchaeus beautifully captures the power of strategic positioning in line with the transforming power of God’s grace. As a chief tax collector, Zaccheus job was to gather taxes for the Roman government. This profession was notorious for corruption. Zacchaeus though he was small in stature as well as being small in character. He didn’t allow his smallness in one area belittle his desire to see Jesus. With a crowd all over the place, he climbed a tree to see over the crowd.

Zacchaeus didn’t allow his physical limitation to affect his desire to see Jesus, he didn’t allow his smallness in one area affect the size of his desire to see Jesus. So strategically thought through how to see Jesus and he climbed a tree. In an instant, he moved from sinner to seeker to follower, Zacchaeus became an example of the change that takes place in our lives because of strategic positioning. Though other people saw Zacchaeus for who he was, Jesus saw him for who he could be, he reached out to him and said salvation has come to your house today.

Most times all we need to access the needed change we longed for is a strategic change of mind or location, its time to make a move. Put away everything hindering you from seeing Jesus, either in your life, health or family, let your action pull him your direction today. Zacchaeus understood the mission of Jesus as savior of the lost. Zacchaeus no longer wanted to pretend he was something else. He was a sinner tired of sinning and wanted to be found by the savior regardless of the wealth he has accrued by fraud. Jesus said to Zacchaeus: I’m glad you know you’re lost—for the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost (Luke 19:9-10). Praise God, Jesus always has time for sinners and all that would come to Him; let him find you today!
