He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
There are two very different ways of looking at life. You are either a person that sees the glass half empty or half full. For most people, they spent the best of their life seeing God as checking them out in a half-empty-glass sort of way. Most times because they feel they have so many character flaws. At such points, they get paralyzed by fear and hindered from doing the right thing. And before you know it, its game over or at best they try to hide their heart and pretend all was going great.
But God sees us as a glass half full. He sees us as work in progress; He has begun a good work in us! Wow, there’s so much to be thankful for! Christ is being formed in us. Even if you are not a believer in Christ yet, the fact that you are reading this is part of a good work that God is beginning in you! The good work that God has begun in you is like a launch pad filled with hope, commitment, gratitude, and courage to keep on being formed in Christ. God has no abandoned projects; He will perfect all that concerns you.
Think of yourself as being “under construction.” God is doing good things in you. And God has many more good things that he will do. So in his strength let us all “run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:1-2). He will complete all that He has started in us.
I Declare: Today I declare that I am a work in progress, the one at work in me has a track record of completing all He has started. My times are in His hands, when He is done working in me I will come forth as pure gold.
Ignite Thought: God is always working behind the scene, He neither sleeps nor slumber, He is never tired, He never goes on vacation. He always comes through and He is always on time.
