He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,” and “your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27 CSB
Have you ever heard that Christianity is not a religion but a relationship? Many people will still argue that Christianity is a religion. However, in the Bible, we see that Christianity is not just a set of rules and regulations or things we need to do to please God. The resurrection of Jesus Christ reveals that Christianity is much more than that; it is life. It is a way of life that leads us to love God and love our neighbors.
Those that were first called Christians were not called that because of their rituals and sets of regulations. They were called Christians because their way of life was exactly with that of Jesus Christ. Christianity is not a religion, it is a lifestyle: a lifestyle that is synonymous to that of Jesus; a lifestyle that reminds the world around us of just one man – Jesus; a lifestyle that reminds people of Calvary, He who was crucified on it and the reason why He died; one that points them to the cross; a lifestyle of love towards God and man. A lifestyle that spells good and favor towards all. Christianity is a lifestyle that seeks to do the will of God the Father; to obey God rather than men. Christianity is a lifestyle patterned after Christ.

Ignite Thought: Any life not lived in conformity to Jesus Christ is a wasted life.
