Thriving In Opposition

Spread the word!

The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Psalm 110:2 (KJV)

In life you have to be in charge in other for you to rule. We cannot exercise our authority on an enemy we have not conquered. See how the scriptures described Jesus as exerting rulership over his enemies. This goes on to support the fact that Jesus is bigger than we can ever imagine, He is superior than all the biblical heroes of all time. And because Jesus ruled in the midst of His enemies, the believer in Christ too can rule in the midst of chaos and hostilities. Our dominion in life stems from our relationship with Jesus Christ, our attachment to Him makes us part of Him and like Him. He empowers us to trample on snakes and scorpions and whatever attempts to make God a liar in our lives.

The devil is the arch enemy of the believer in Christ, and he has crafted all his agents into ensuring that the believer in Christ lives in perpetual defeat and shame. But thanks be to God who always makes us to triumph over our enemies, in Col 2:15 Jesus won over the enemy and made an open spectacle of them and in turn made us more than conquerors. 1 Cor 6:17 says that “He that is joined to Christ is one spirit with Him.” Be armed with this present spiritual reality and rule in the midst of your enemies.

My declaration and confession: Father help me to realize fully the authority and victory you have given me in your Son, from today I utilize the authority by ruling and thriving in the midst of my enemies!

Ignite Thought: As believers, we are in charge. We rule over the enemy because Satan is already defeated!
